type 1 diabetes
Heart condition (unidentified)
- has a service dog trained to help with diabetes and heart condition (border collie)
LuminOsteo Syndrome (LOS)
audhd
- (stims, dealing with sensory overloads)
imposter syndrome
asthma
- nivani uses an inhaler
EDS
- this irritates their LOS, often causing flare ups that last for an extended period of time
LuminOsteo Syndrome (LOS)
adhd
- (stims, dealing with sensory overload)
anxiety (performance)
twin quirks:
keeps a scoreboard for every little thing, but espacially just dance wins
argue over stupid and minor things
hate each other one minute then besties the next
Aven is older but shorter (and is salty about it)
they use stupid things as blackmail/excuses (whos taller, whos older, who got less sleep, who did it last time etc.)

LuminOsteo Syndrome (LOS)“The glow beneath the skin.”Overview:
LuminOsteo Syndrome (LOS) is a rare and fantastical genetic condition in which the skeletal system contains bioluminescent compounds that activate upon mechanical stress—such as joint cracking, impact, or pressure. When a person with LOS cracks their knuckles, stretches, or suffers a bone fracture, the affected bones emit an eerie, colorful glow (most commonly neon green, blue, or violet).Cause:
LOS is caused by a mutation in the fictional LUX1 gene, which produces an enzyme called Phosphorase-X. This enzyme interacts with calcium phosphate in the bones and a fictional luminescent compound called lucidrine, stored in microscopic bone vesicles. When pressure is applied, lucidrine is released and reacts, creating a glowstick-like luminescent effect.Symptoms:
• Audible joint cracking followed by bright, brief bone glow
• Luminescence visible through skin in dim or dark environments
• Occasional warmth or tingling at site of glowing
• Minor fatigue after excessive glowing events
• In severe cases: spontaneous glowing during stress or adrenaline spikes (e.g., during a fight or while running)
Aven and Nivani grew up alone, with only each other as company. They spent their time exploring the forest around their home - an old, abandoned lab site - foraging for a lot of their food, and venturing out towards the nearing cities for other essentials. They became somewhat known as cryptids of that forest, as people rumored seeing two glowing figures passing through the tree line. These whispers spread, and rumors grew that the forest was haunted, which sparked the twins' interest in the paranormal and ghost hunting. When they were younger, they spent their free time creating things from the environment around them - Aven learned how to make mosaic art from the broken windows of the lab, and Nivani learned about the inner workings of electronics, salvaging the scrap and recycling it into newer creations. As they grew older, they began exploring more of the city near them, meeting new people and exploring new hobbies and skills. They spent most of their time at the park, where Aven learned how to skate and Nivani developed a love for trampolining and rollerskating.
